I was in the gym today with my 8 years old son. Brought him over for the thursday kid play ball class which normally on 4pm every thursday. When i was in the door,i asked the receptionist if the class still on. He said yes. So i let my son waited in the classroom. I went in to get changed to do a bit work out myself. After me change,I saw my son still in the room waiting, so i called him over to the reception desk and asked the man again if the class still on. He said yes, so i let my son back to the classroom waiting,I went upstairs do a bit workout. When i finished my workout about 45mins later, i saw my son still there by himself,that made me so upset. I went to the reception to ask what's going on. The manager was there,he said there's no class today. I asked him why the receptionist said there is.The manager didn't even appologize,he said why i didn't look at the new schedule about the class.I told him i went away for 2 month,only back.And i asked the receptionist twice about the class.He just kept saying there was my responsiblity to look after my son. That made me went mad, i said to him what if someone took my son away,whose fault is that be. The reception just beside the classroom with the glass can see through,he saw my son was standing there by himself almost an hour,he wouldn't even take 2 mins of his time to go upstairs to call me. What kind of joke place is that? I paid almost 700euro for a year membership. This is the kind of service i got. And the jucuzzi in the ladys always freezen cold and no steam in the steamroom. Just overpaid price for this gym. I used to go to westwood, much better place. Just warn anyone with kids want to join that gym to think about it. Dont go. The worst gym ever.Don't go near there. Purely the worst.

You should not have left your child 'waiting' to go in. Your child is your responsibility.

The decent thing for the receptionist to do was let you know your child was still waiting, but he has absolutely no obligation to do so.

If your child was taken it would have been the abductors fault. You would also be accountable as the child was in your custody. The lad in the gym would not be responsible.

Why is your membership a 'rip off'?? Is child minding a part of the service you pay for?? If so you should seek a full refund.

Perhaps you should have spent the 700 euro on a nanny or child minder.

I left him in the classroom because the receptionist said it's ok to leave him there and i asked him to keep a eye on him. After all those, the receptionist won't even applogize to me. I said the rip off it's the lack of service and poor condition in the Lady's steam room and jacuzzi. By lack of service i mean he should just come upstairs to let me know there's no class today and loads of the other time the steam room lights not on or no steam in the steamroom when u told the staff no one will come over to take a look.I'm not looking for a baby-sitter,I only brought my son over for this class,i goes to gym in the morning when my son went to school. What if this happen to u,what would u say? R u still going to say the same thing u said to me? I hope u enjoy this gym urself

The receptionist acted very poorly, that's obvious. He should of knew the schedule, and he should of also told you when he knew it wasn't on. I doubt he ever copped that tbh.

However, when the class hadn't started after 15mins, I would of checked the timetable personally.

Can you try and use paragraphs in your posts as they are a little hard to read. Also, text speak is against the rules
