So yeah, in short. I've had this on my mind for awhile now, as have other posters. Me and Pyro discussed it recently and we agreed that the footy tips thread wasn't exactly that for large parts and simply, was a bit of mess. The footy betting forum in general is ever expanding and more and more people are posting/viewing.

I've set up this thread, call it a test run for now, so people can talk about matches in play without clogging up the main menu.

Anything any of you want to discuss about this thread in particular, just PM and I'll get back to you asap.

I think this thread is a brilliant idea as I love in play bettin.
I have made a good bit from the goals markets in play alone the last few days.

So thanks to Ade and Pyro for this one.

Seemingly jinxed St. Petersburg now. Was worth chancing at those odds.

Another couple of goals in that Danish match and Prague score again early in the 2nd half.

It seemed the majority of people posting in the other thread were happy with how it was going. I mean... every few pages had a positive comment along the lines of "the community spirit here really has improved".

If anything, surely it would have been better to leave us be, and make a new thread for those who aren't interested in in-play betting or the general banter?

That way, you'd have one thread for the "chatty" guys who discuss in-game and also tip, and one who just want tips.

Now, the ones who just want tips get the old thread to themselves, and the ones who were actually making this a positively charged forum now have to flick back and forth between 2 threads.

Not cool.
