One of my relations is moving to Australia and has asked me to look after his gym equipment until he returns.
I have a cross trainer, excercise bike, treadmill, rowing machine and a few weights lying in the garage for the last few weeks and i decided maybe i should take advantage of my new unused gym. :D
I am in my late 20s and haven't taken part in any physical activity in the last 4 or 5 years (used to play 5 a side football) I am not actually overweight but i do have a bit of a beer belly.
Can anyone here advise me on which machines i should use and in which way to tone up a bit.
I dont want to look like a body builder or anything like that, would like in belly to decrease and improve my general fitness.

For me, I would be using the cardio equipment for a warm up, then onto the weights, then back to the cardio to finish.

Don't just rattle straight into it, do a bit of research on fitness schedules otherwise you'll go off half cocked and end up with an injury.

A decent split is chest/tris, back/bis, legs, shoulders and work our your rest days in between.

You should probably go to a gym or a PT to get instruction on how to use the equipment properly. They will be able to give you a plan as well. And dont worry... just lifting weights wont make you look like a bodybuilder. It's a bit harder than that.

Not much chance of me looking like a bodybuilder....i dont like that oily looking skin.
I was just pointed out what i wanted to achieve, loss of beer belly being the main aim.
