Just a few dogs i thought might do well today.
They might not win, but i feel the matches might be a bit closer than the odds suggest.

    Horacio Zeballos v Fabio Fognini
    Mikhail Kukushkin v Albert Montanes
    Michael Yani v Bernard Tomic
    Ryan Harrison v Marin Cilic
Jonathan Dasnieres de Veigy v Tommy Haas
Malek Jaziri v Thiemo de Bakker
    Marcel Granollers v Xavier Malisse
    Aleksandra Wozniak v Christina McHale
    Vesna Dolonts v Venus Williams
    Laura Robson v Ayumi Morita

Anyone agree/disagree with any of them?

Paddy Power doing a special: If Murray makes final they are refunding all losing Outright Single Bets. Anyone else think because they are doing this Djockvic is good value at 7/5? He has lost once all year so the likelyhood of him being beaten by anyone other that the big 4 is slim. He will play Murray in the semi so if he loses there you get it refunded. What you think?

Will Djork be 100% for the US Open though? Heard (somewhat) about the final of the Cincinnati Masters and how he had to withdraw.

I know Niland has next to no chance of winning tomorrow, but any chance he could nick a set or does this look a easy 3-0 for Djokovic?

    Djokovic is 1/150

Findi it hard to get excited about this event . Too many of the players don't really take it seriously enough and end up tanking they're games early to get a few weeks off.
Horrible way too loose money this.

Serena and the Djoker could realistically sleep walk it but backing them in either singles or a double hardly seems worth the effort at terrible pointless odds . Mort else are playing like dog schit.

Murry hasn't even bothered getting himself a coach .

He would be considerably shorter than 7/5 in the final whoever hes opponent and it would be a good spot to trade out.

he was never going to lose 3-0 :)

should be a fantastic day for making money.
    Some really great matches on
    verdasco way overpriced
Juan Carlos Ferrero Fitness is a concern, hopefully in 3 sets
    Alexandr Dolgopolov
    cilic possibly
    Tommy Haas
    Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova

    Am I missin something here?!

Djokovic V Dolgopolov startin shortly....1 market interests me but the prices in another 2 make the price i'm lookin at VERY weird!

Thinking of Djokovic Under 18.5 games...8/11 on PP but 20/23 on Boyles.

So a 3 set win with no tie breaks is needed.

Dolgopolov is "favourite" to get UNDER 9.5 games (8/11 PP 3/4 Boyles)

Now considerin Dolgopolov would need 6 games in a set to get a Tie Break....Surely Djokovic Under 18.5 is worth a SERIOUS look?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,584 ✭✭✭digme

No way would i touch them markets :)
dolgopolov's stock will go up massively after this match. He's top 5 material.

stosur to beat zvonareva at 11/10 seems good after checking their head to head.

Anyone watching the tennis atm? Nadal struggling. Losing 3-0 in the first set.

Think it's Gerd Muller he's playing, currently 4/1 to win.

That first match point he just slapped at the ball very low percentage play but it went in and thus the tide turned right there. I thought Fed should have at least tried a surprise serve volley on one MP but I guess he was pretty shaken after that lightning bolt return.

backed williams to win 2-0 was 2/5 when she was 4 games to 1 up on betfair. 1/4 on paddy power when i put it on! She's dominated the first so hopefully she keeps it up, Wozniacki being outclassed

Is Djoc to win tonight @ 4/6 a good price? Any tips?

PP Special of Djok straight sets @ 4/1

Fiver on it for interest. Even if I think Nadal will win one set.

With 6-5 in 3rd set and 15:15 we just witnessed one of the best exchanges of the season... or maybe I don't watch tennis enough ;).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,687 ✭✭✭stingerro

Djokovic is very tired. Took Nadal (3.40) to win the game in tie-break when he was leading 5:2.

Wouldn't be a tennis expert but surely Djokovic and Nadal are opposable tomorrow after such a hard few weeks?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 781 ✭✭✭Cartel Mike

Rafa's fierce nationalistic though and this is davis cup so he'll be hard to oppose.

Djoker is way too nationalistic to oppose too.Besides Nalbandy in tennis terms is old and fat now . Too many injuries and cheeseburgers.

I'll give wawrinka a go @5/6 against Tomic though . Fed will be geeing up the Wawa man not to let Switzerland down.

He's not one to put the mortgage on though.
