A lot of these names are not humorous, they are just awful.

    Curl up and Dye?

    Jesus.

Why do so many hairdressers insist on having ridiculous names?

Thailand's the place for this stuff. There's one shop called 'BJ Souveneir', and a Doctor's clinic next to it called 'Dr Pornsak' who also hires cars, and sells Garden Gnomes.

Best one is a huge place in Cork which has been painted pink - but tastefully done - and they've gone to a lot of effort to design the outside of the building to fit the theme/logo, but spelled it wrong. 'Repunzels'.

When I stayed in Chicago during my J1 stay, I lived near a shop called Fanny's Alterations.

    Fanny altered clothes apparently.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I know a couple of others have spotted it - The Soon Fatt...
Always wonder if it's deliberate or not!
