I'm 35 and I've got arthritis mainly affecting ankles and wrists. I'm looking for runners to use in gym/perhaps road with good foot support. I'm keen to get weight down a bit. BMI 27.5 and illness zaps my energy but can do a bit on treadmills/bikes.

Can you recommend good runners please for my circumstances.

You could go to a specialist shop like Amphibian King in Bray or Galway where they do GAIT analysis.

This may be of some use to you.

You would be much better off talking to some sort of physio or physical therapist rather than the nameless masses on an internet forum.

This - sorry OP but if there's a pre-existing medical condition you'll need to talk to a professional about how best to deal with it.
