Quick question. What weight/lean body mass are the RDA's based on and can I just divide down to get an RDA for my lean body mass.

Try the Katch McArdle calculator to work out this http://www.cordianet.com/calculator.htm

Why would you want to do this ?

RDA's are derived from aggregate data of over a population. As such they are useful for describing and comparing populations only....not individuals.
Their application to an individual in the manner you suggest is a prime example of the ecological fallacy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ecological_fallacy.

 really, so I should just ignore the RDA values as they can't be applied to individauls.....If this is the case then I'm really confused

They're a starting point. Probably 70-80% of the population will do perfectly well if they use those calories. Some old or inactive people will need less, some athletes will need more.

Personally, I'm not happy with the distribution of the protein, fat and carbs in the RDA but that's a different issue from the calorie requirements.
