So heres a poll to see how many people got on the Palace +2 handicap last night with Paddypower, and how many people have been told to either feck off or that their getting paid.

Im gonna make the poll public so please state your method of withdrawing so people in the same boat can compare.

I think this poll is a good idea as theres so much posting going on in tips thread, its all over the place.

Did Paddypower say they will pay you as goodwill gesture onb Palace +2? 23 votes

PP have said I will be paid in full as a good will gesture.

I withdrew winnings straight after final whistle via Visa debit card.

Funds have not yet landed in my bank acc, but I expect them in a day or so.

Edit; meant to put this in football thread, can it be moved please?

Withdrew via Mastercard both at HT (Palace +1) then at FT (Palace +2). Live Help said I was getting paid.

Withdrew to my laser card straight after match, PP say withdrawal has been cancelled and live help deny any knowledge of these other "goodwill gestures".

My account was minus my winnings last night and then this morning a couple of hours late my balance was showing €0.00.

PP confirmed payment as goodwill gesture.

Not sure what's happenin with me cause first they said good will, then I got told this after askin if I get to keep the money:

Thank you for contacting Paddy Power Customer Support.

You were incorrectly credited winnings due to a blatant price error in the Crystal Palace v Crawley match yesterday.

As per our rules we voided these bets and settled them at the correct price, which however left you with a negative balance of €1067.56.

As a goodwill gesture we have brought balance back to zero.

I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I got this email from them.

    Hi Martin,

Thank you for contacting Paddy Power Customer Support.
Our rules state: 'We cannot allow for mistakes, nor accept responsibility for any errors or omissions in respect of the announcing, publishing, or marking of prices, runners, times or result, despite every effort to ensure their accuracy. Paddy Power reserves the right to correct any obvious errors'

With regards to goodwill gestures in the past these do not affect whether we will apply a goodwill gesture in the future. If Crawley had beaten Crystal Palace your bet would have been settled as a losing bet, however, as Crystal Palace did win your bet was settled at the correct price. The decision on this will stand. I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I'm in the "you'll get all the cash you withdrew as a gesture of goodwill" boat.

    EDIT:

Just off with one of their CS - "The funds you withdrew have gone back to your bank. And yes you were returned to zero as a goodwill gesture".

I feel I'm now safe to assume that I DO have EVERYTHING I withdrew (she confirmed the amounts I withdrew and those were correct.)

Does that mean they took the funds off you then changed their minds?

Withdrew immediately after game last night to BOI Laser Card
Live help told me today that withdraws were ok and that balance has been returned to zero as good will gesture

No they couldn't take my funds off me by the time they had got to it. All they could do is negative my account with the amount that I withdrew - which is pointless for them because A) they're unlikely to get the money back and B) I will never be able to bet there again.

So they reset my account to €0.00 so that I have the ability to bet again.

Found this message in my account:

As you've no doubt already noticed, we screwed up royally during last night's Crystal Palace v Crawley Town Carling Cup game. We made a huge error with one of our prices and although it's within our rules to claim palpable error and take the money back, we're doing the decent thing and letting you hang on to the cash.

We've written it off, given the staff member involved the obligatory flogging and the upshot of it is the money is all yours to keep. Paddy Power won't be calling around to your house with Dog The Bounty Hunter to reclaim his cash. And just to reassure the more paranoid punters out there, your name hasn't been added to Paddy's list of enemies and you categorically WILL NOT be pursued further should you bet with Paddy Power in future.

Enjoy your winnings and all the best,

    The team at Paddy Power

Only "regret" i have is that i left €22.50 in my account after withdrawing 350 which is gone now.

Earlier today i said that i basically only went on it for the fun of it. I was expecting the bets going void already during the game.

But then they settled the bets and i didnt know how fast to withdraw the money.

Edit: Headshot, yes it was in my account> messages

    Dear HS,

You may have noticed that there was an error recently with one of the prices for your bet during the recent Crystal Palace v Crawley Town Carling Cup game.

Although it is within Paddy Power's rules to claim palpable error andsettle this market at the correct price, in this case we have made an exception and will allow you to hang on to the cash.

We have written the loss off as our fault, given the staff member involved the obligatory flogging and the upshot for you is that the money is all yours to keep.

Enjoy your winnings and all the best,

    Paddy Power Customer Service

    So happy

Howdy folks, I exchanged a couple of pm's with buckfasterer & he mentioned that for a charity the Donegal Hospice would really appreciate it.

Lets make it our good will gesture & donate some of our winnings.

If buckfasterer doesn't mind we can donate it in his name.

    Here's the website http://donegalhospice.com/wp/

Click on Donate on the right side of the page. Donations can be made by paypal or credit card.
