    Isn't the wimax fair usage about 50gb!? chances are most people unless excessive downloaders would be fine with that... it's pretty suck for gaming with pings and not as reliable but with netflix and lots of streaming/movie/tv downloading happening data gets used pretty quick =/

    I was very close to ordering Imagine WiMax this evening.

    After reading this thread I will not be going near the service

    I have Wimax and have had no problems with them at all. Paying for 7MB and usually get over this.
    I play PS3 games online, download torrents and wife would be on the net all at the same time with no problems. I know most people have bad experience with them but i dont. I have the fixed version of wimax.

    No you don't. You have a fixed install, but a fixed install doesn't make it a fixed wireless when most of the users are nomadic and using weak dongles to connect through obstacles/walls/glass/trees etc. With real fixed wireless everyone gets an outdoor install with line of sight, guaranteeing the best signal for everyone and thereby a better, more efficient, controllable network.
