  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,127 ✭✭✭✭Leeg17

Addicted to them in general, saturday kitchen is a must watch start to the weekend. Its getting a bit overkill for me with the likes of Donal Skehan, the Baker brothers and Rachel Khoo who does the french cooking after S.K. So over the top and too much love for their own work for mine.

Any ideas where I can catch full or at least detailed coverage of todays heineken match. Tried tg4.ie player, but it lists todays match as Ulster v Edinburgh. Go raibh mile a mhaith agat indeed...

Swimming breaststroke or the 200m race.

Would you run with the Olympic Torch if given the chance?

That would be amazing! So yes :D

Just saw an item on Antiques Roadshow tonight about someones granddad or such who ran the olympic torch in 1932 olympics (err or approximately then). They had the photo of the man holding it and the actual torch was the antique featured. Think it was priced at around 20,000.

So family heritage vrs 20.000 POUNDS, would you sell????

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,551 ✭✭✭Eroticplants

Yes, as he puts it. To consolidate his legend. It will be very tough this time around though.

EDIT: Yes, with a biscuit or slice of cake.

    European championships or Olympics?

European championships. Spend years following players kicking ball vrs a much shorter time generally following competitors in the varied olympic events. Whilst we would be overjoyed with any sporting success the buzz would be bigger for the country with the footie imo.

Do we place too much emphasis on sport and sporting success?

No, I think it gives people a harmless outlet.

    Do you?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,127 ✭✭✭✭Leeg17

Success maybe, on sport (and participation) itself no.

    Do you watch UFC?

I think its harmless at worst, and potentially very beneficial for health reasons and giving many people a much needed focus. A world without sport seems very dangerous.

Do you enjoy the 'danger' of adrenaline junkie sports?
