There is one of those Brera parked on my carpark most of the days. Great sound of it.

it is a diesel but they're a lovely looking car imo.

Considering how bad the petrols are (they're not really, but nothing like the old engines for fun), diesel is the right option for the brera/159, unless its the 1750. Sad and all as it is If i had a choice between a 2.4 jtd or a 3.2 v6 in the brera, it'd be the 2.4 jtd.
The 3.2 is heavy and an insult to busso

    Apologies for the rant:o

Always thought the Brera just looked a bit porky, and bloated...not a fan.

will become a bit of a future classic i think, not in the classic stakes as a alfa romeo sz though, they are all but wiped from autotrader now, about 5 years ago they could be got for 20/30k.

I wouldn't mind but i was an Alfa salesman when it was launched. The petrols were nothing to write home about, haven't driven the diesel. I was very underwhelmed. I did (and still do) prefer the GT.

I came in at the end of the 156 and the start of the 159. Sold more 147 and GT's than anything.

Could not disagree more! It was excellent looking in the flesh and the best from the back. I'll stick up a picture of the back of it tomorrow

I only got one pic from the 'ring, the weather wasn't great despite being 21 degrees in Dortmund the day before, there was really bad fog in the Eifel mountains visibility was pretty poor driving up and the 'ring was under lock down with only the ring taxi allowed out. Loads of lovely metal on show in and around as always but i didn't take any pics sorry.

I don't know what it is to be honest, it was one of the newer VW's alright but wasn't anything worth taking a pic of. No offense to any VW's but the surrounding cars were just cooler :D

No picture unfortunately but I saw a 1992 silver 7 series slammed on those euro style wheels (stretched tyres look I think) today near Inishannon in Co Cork, was behind me for a while and than it overtook me. Looked really really well.

It's coming back as a diesel??
But I think there might be a mix up or something cause it's an E55 AMG Auto but a diesel.

No. Definitely wasn't a diesel. Must be a mix up.

It's sitting in the higher end of the tax bracket anyway so maybe you are right.
