Hearts have a few decent players, Templeton is one to watch. Still can't see them doing anything against Spurs, that team is full of quality.

Defensively I'm not sure how solid that team is and Hearts should be sharper having started the season already.

True, they will be sharper. Tynecastle can also be a tough place to go when it's packed too. You'd still have to fancy Spurs though.

If a Scotsman was looking at that comment he'd be thinking about glass houses and stones.

Great first half of football we're very comfortable so far hopefully a good omen for the rest of the season, expect Townsend to come on second half he's pretty hand as well.

Easy peasy, when Spurs are passing and moving it like Barcelona you know you're in trouble (and that not having a pop at Harrys lot). Marking space is okay in the 18 yard area not across the whole defensive half.

Spurs breaking Hearts again i see.

Well that was a nice walk about in Tynecastle. Good to get in a game of supposed competitiveness before the United game, and we looked sharp enough for the start of the season. Kyle Walker looks like the real deal at RB. Hearts tried to kick us off the pitch towards the end, just happy to get away without any injuries. Looking forward to seeing the reserves get a game in the return leg.

Love to see Harry Kane get a chance up front.

Ehh Rangers got an away goal vs Nk Maribor and Celtic doing very well to hold FC Sion 0-0 at home.

Yeah so would I. If Adebayor comes in Redknapp might look to give our other senior strikers a game ahead of Kane though. I'd expect Townsend, Livermore, Bassong, Corluka and young Friedel to get a run anyway.

Friedel I question if he can make it? has a habit of pushing the ball into the middle of the box.

Care to remind us of Everton's record in Europe the last say 10 years?

Hearts priced @ 5000/1 to progress in Europe. However they're now favourites to win Perrier Award for funniest performance during Fringe

The Old Firm might turn things around in the return legs but at the moment Scottish clubs are not making any impression in Europe at all.

robbed of a place in the CL group stages by a certain baldy head ref.

not bad for a team of paupers, might be a different story if heysel did not occur but that is a different story eh.

havent seen Liverpool in the CL for a bit mind you...

scottish teams are crap in europe, always were and always will be

celtic should be trounced FC sion at home..

give everton the 200 million pounds Pool have squandered and Im sure a top 4 spot would be easily done sir.

care to remind us of your teams expenditure on players in say the last 10 years vs Evertons?

then I can answer your question.

You're the one in here talking sh*t about Scottish clubs not me.

Care to remind us of Hearts' expenditure for the last 10 years for example?

When did you start watching football? Two years ago?

celtic should be trounced FC sion at home..

Sion aren't a bad team. Celtic should have won but what can you do. Not easy when you're missing four players that would make the starting eleven every week. All to play for in the 2nd leg.
