So much for being this great ''character'' that many football fans presumed he was.

Always heard how good craic he was from people even though none of us have met him. I'm gonna call him a jerk because I'm hiding behind my internet.

    As would I.

    Cheers.

Bullard, 32, has not featured for the Tigers this season after being placed on suspension following an incident on a pre-season trip to Slovenia.

It was all stuff that other footballers have been done for before, nothing too outrageous!!

No need for a PM or any of that lawyer talk bollox. He apparently went on the lash in London then got a taxi straight back to Hull afterwards for training. Was still gee eyed when he got there.

That, on top of the Slovenia incident, led to the sacking. Or so the word on the street goes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,328 ✭✭✭Mezcita

Interesting to see how this pans out. He was on massive money at Hull and apparently refused to take a wage cut.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,798 ✭✭✭✭keane2097

I once got sacked by a soccer club near enough to Hull for getting a taxi to there from London after being out on the piss all night and still being locked when I arrived at training.

But that's just me, not Jimmy Bullard.

All I can find is stories of an incident in pre-training camp in Slovenia!

    Bloody curious now.

Nice ninja edit by the way :P

If the thing with Pearson was true i'd be very surprised.

I'm hearing that somebody allegedly punched a woman and took out an injunction over it.

Also hearing something about somebody hiring prostitutes in Eastern Europe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

Was the rumour of him having a lady of the night over during the Slovenia training camp true as well?

Seriously though - what a waster.

Why the fúck do the boards lawyers pay attention to super injunctions taken out under the law of the United Kingdom to prohibit publication of things in the United Kingdom?

A taxi straight from London to Hull?? That'd be nearly £700. He must have been absolutely fúcked to even consider that.

Think I will just wait till the news of the world hack his phone.....oh wait!

Well he's on £45k a week so why would he worry about that?

The real winner out of this story was the taxi driver.
Must have made his year to get a fare from London to Hull

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,836 ✭✭✭Sir Gallagher

Maybe they shut down his local youth club and that's why he went mental.

That's the equivalent of about €10 to those on the average industrial wage.

I'm sure will be delighted with having him off the wage book.

Those that pay attention to laws in Ireland tend to follow British Law more than Irish Law, just the way it has always been,

Unbelievable punmanship, posts like this should be placed on the homepage of boards for a week so that they get the love they deserve. Take a bow, son!:D

Hull City were just waiting to sack him. Bullard was bleeding them dry.
