how much are you willing to spend a month?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17 brish

about 550 - 600? I'm not sure what normal but when i see the college on-site fees it would work out about this. I suppose it would depend on the quality of the accommodation

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 19 BOG2011

top quality accomodation :D, theres a few places around donnybrook, stillorgan and blackrock.....

Search on Daft.ie and rent.ie and all those sites, search for places to Rent or to Share. Areas Clonskeagh, Donnybrook, Milltown, Stillorgan, Boosterstown, etc all close to UCD. Rent per room usually falls in around 300-500 per month +Bills.
Takes a while to find places so get emailing and ringing people now!

I'm not really sure how much I should be paying but i'd like somewhere close to the college with 3-4 other people preferably 1st and 2nd year.

    Hi Guys
I have messaged some of you already because my younger brother is starting Commerce in UCD and is looking for accommodation so i'm trying to help him out. He is looking by himself because his friends want to live on campus which works out rather expensive. He is 18 and very easy going (He gets on with absolutely everyone). He loves sport especially Gaelic . He wants to live with other first years if possible or even second years and is looking at rent up to 450 per month. Message me if you're interested in joining up to look for houses or have a spare room that might be suitable. Thanks again!!

Hey, I'm a first year science student at UCD this year and also interested in sharing a house/flat with some other first years. I'm 19 and from Belgium so I won't be able to view the accommodation as I won't be in Ireland until September 7th. I'm sociable and easy to get along with. Hopefully some of us can get joint together to find something? :)

I'm also a ucd first year (psychology, female, 19) looking for accomodation. Can't go look at anything though because I don't live in ireland yet so if anyone has a place they think would be suitable, I'm willing to spend up to approx 500 a month and I do not want to share a room (as in twin rooms etc).PM me

    HI guys!

I am also in the same boat as most of you. Just want to get this whole accomm thing sorted! So stressful! :-\ anyhoo...

I am looking for a couple of other first year students to share accomm with. I think first years would be best and people who aren't all familiar with each other already, at least then we would all be in the same boat. Would anyone be interested in a property that i seen listed in Mount merrion? It is a four bedroom house and the rent is 1700 euros monthly which would work out at 425 per housemate. I was going to contact the landlord in the hope of finding a couple of other like minded people who would be up for renting with me...

If anyone is still interested then PM me and i will send you the link to the property or something...:)

    Cheers,

    Sophie

i was in the 20 anyways then next time i went on to check it was offered :) well there was a good few places up there to chose from but then when u narrow it down say like only female it went down to only a few places... i got offered belgrove, merville and roebuck catered accommodation but when i narrowed it down to just female it was just belgrove that was available.. and it was mostly mixed for merville and im not sure what it was for just male... they offer it everyday just after four and you only till four the next day to accept :)
