Anyone ever have it? It's been at me for 8 months on and off and I'm getting so sick of it. Been doing all the exercises my PT gave me and the knee still feels "weird" sometimes. Does this thing ever go away?!

    Mine went away... Eventually.

I foam rolled my IT bands for months, started keeping my legs in better nick by squatting and deadlifting, and gave up cycling. I get a little bit now and then but the physio thinks that it's something to do with my weak RHS erector spinae.

How long are we talking? o.o

It's strange because everywhere I've looked it says "recovery takes around 6 weeks" but no one I've read about who has it has made a recovery so quickly.

Originally recovery took about 6 weeks alright. If I cut back on squatting and strength work it comes back.

    Horrible injury.

And how long ago was that? (I'm wondering how much longer after the original injury it might take before strengthening isn't necessary to make it stay OK.) I have Patellar tendinopathy in on knee and patellofemoral pain in both knees, but one of them is only recent. The first bit of patellofemoral pain in my left knee wasn't too bad at all. The recent on in the right is much much worse, and it pops a lot and feels very loose o.o
