Worst weapon in the game

What do you guys think the worst(Primary) weapons in the CoD games are?

Playing Blops lately and every gun is apparently overpowered that I use, even stuff like akimbo sub machine guns like the skorpion people complain about :rolleyes:

depending on the game type and the way you play you can make any of the guns, even akimbo scorpions, work if your decent. so your always going to get moaners who cant adept and deal with it. in fairness i bitch myself but only as a cure for stress

I think all the primary weapons are usable one you get used to them, which is why I am always using Combat training before going into a real match.

That said, I don't like using either the Gallil or the M14. I find the LMG's all too clunky for me given I am very much a rusher, The Uzi is just ugly in so many ways that I don't like using it, and I'm not great with a sniper.

I think though, that if you play the gun appropriate to what it can do, no matter what it is, you can do well with it.

Really didn't like the LMGs in Blops (there's little I remember likeing about that game at this stage) in comparison to MW2 they were a big let down. I know the Stoner gets a lot of love but meh give me any of the LMGs from MW2 over the Stoner any day.

twin scorps are fun specially with slight of hand and scavenger.

agreed on the lmg's being useless, most of the assault rifles can do their job better and dont slow you down as much.

my prefered weapons are the m16, m14, galil, scorpion, spectre, psg1, pump shotty.

In blops the worst i think are
Handgun-asp, although reloading it with soh is humourously quick

Shotgun-olympia, some love it, for me tis pants! That being said, its the worst of a bad bunch

Smg-Mac 11, although ya'll often see the hipsters tryin to use its infinately sh!te, scorpion on its own is again bad, but dual wield with scavanger steady aim is one of my staple set ups for a run and gun game type

Assault rifles-enfield for me, they're all fairly good. Most would say the m14 of ral but they're single fire so dont think its fair to compare them to automatics, the fal is better of the 2 in any case.

Lmg-That HK thing, really bad unless your staring point blank at who you are shooting in which case its good haha

Sniper- dragunov, for such a cool name it fails so much, that WA thing aint much better.

Specials-None loves me specials

Playing mw2 lately, tbh every weapon is usable and are worth while, some not as good as others (obviously) but when I prestige in mw2 all weapons given from the start are good and usable unlike the sh!te ya havta contend with in the first 15-20 ranks in blops give or take..I dont mind prestiging in mw2 but dread in in blops, in fact i stopped doing it:P


Havent played the others im a late joiner, thinking of getting cod 4, hear its a solid game

The type 100 is one of my favourite sub machine guns in WaW and isn't one of the worst in the game. The shotguns in WaW however are probably the worst in any call of duty. I'd go as far to say the trench gun/shotgun are the two worst guns in cod since cod 4.(I haven't played the others extensively so I can't say they're definitively the worst in any game)

Maybe the Type isn't the worst, but compared to the other sub machine guns it is definitely bottom of my list of go to weapons.

I agree with HS10's, even Akimbo, Useless. Have better luck with single shot CZ77 or what ever that hand gun is, actually wait, any hand gun other than the python which is over powered when dual!

I was going to say knife but ive seen some skilled players that can get a headshot even when throwing a knife for miles, they must randomly throw a thousand of them and hope for the best

Excluding the MW2 Uzi which is one of my favourite guns in the COD series... it'd have to be the uzi overall along with the Draganov which I truly despise with a passion (COD4 challenges ) are horrid guns. All I ever get is hitmarkers. I'll include the M14 as well, despite being a fan of the likes of the G3 and FAL. COD4 challenges for that gun were so tedious.

For those saying the MP44 :mad: Treat it like an SMG and it's grand, unless you're a somewhat good player, trying to play like an AK for example is pointless. I personally love the MP44 going back to COD2 days so could never hate it and can get some very good scores with it regularly.

Other guns that deserve honorable mentions - MP5K (MW2), M60 LMG (COD4), M240 LMG (MW2), L86 LMG (MW2) and H2K1 LMG (BOPS).

I actually like it in MW2. Its good if you use it for its purpose ie CQB. Obviously if you use it at range the recoil will be a bitch, but it's not intended for that.

+1 on the m240 being terrible.

Horrific iron sights, sound that gives your position away for miles, recoil that even with grips / silencer is a joke and damage thats on par with firing bb's.

Outclassed by nearly every other LMG in game.


A close second would have to be the FN2000,nearly the same fire rate as the tar but with less damage, worse iron sights and same mag capacity. No need for that gun in the game tbh.

That gun is the most inconsistent POS I have ever used. One day hit markers abound yet the next its got one hit kills accross huge distances and in COD there is nothing worse that not being able to judge corners, distances or encouters effectivly. You cant confidently know your limits with that gun at all meaning your never quite sure if you should take one route or another, to stay put or push forward to reload or roll with what you have.

I didn't like the mp5 for a long time in blops.. I wouldn't prestige cause I didn't like it, playing on a secondary account now I actually like it with rapid fire.. The enfield I didn't like, but used it on my mates account messing about an it was great... The m16 is a bit of a crap gun..

I'd like to say I am fairly consistent with the spas.

I just use it a uber about of time.

2 or 3 nuke's with it show's.Just give it a proper go with Mara,SP,Ninja or SA

In black ops for me my worst weapons are the dragunov and W2000 which give me way 2 many hitmarkers for my liking and the uzi because of its shytty iron sights probably the worst in the game.For ppl saying the lmgs try the M60 with grip and hardened pro.For me thats one of the strongest setups in the game.
