Posted elsewhere, but from sleuthing around the web, it actually is a bargain:

    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=40591

Ultegra rear mech, use code TK10 (till this Friday) and you get it for €57 with free shipping. That's cheaper than a 105 rear mech on most sites.

Definitely the way to go if you've been thinking of upgrading your groupset.

Been on the hunt for a good price for a set of tyres - found Continental Attack & Force tyres for sale on Rosebikes website for the bargain-licious price of €27 each. The regular suspects have them for more than €50 each.

They also have the GP4000 for the same price and the Grand Prix for a redonkulous €19 each.

With postage on €6 it could be worth stocking up for the year at those bargain basement prices!

Just be warned, I think those Grand Prix's are the non-folding version.

+1 on the rest of the post though - great prices.

anyone ever bought from them willing go in on order with anyone in dublin to share postage, you can never have too many gp4000 tyres

Bought from them before (everything from spokes to handlebars to my mountain bike) so they are def legit. Just bought two sets of tyres there (would have offered to go into a group buy but I'm based in Kerry) and postage still only came to €6 so don't let it hold you back too much.

@ Paul K - cheers for that lad, didn't even notice they weren't folders - still at €19 they're a lot better value than what you'd pay for them at CRC!

thanks for that I just picked up 2 of the €19 Grand Prix tyres. Took me a while to decide whether or not to go for the gp 4000 but i reckon these will do for commuting/training, any thoughts?

Aldi have some motorbike stuff on the 1st March, but the balaclava/gloves/neckwarmers might suit someone looking for winter gear (I write as it's 13 or so degrees outside). I got the crane balaclava years ago, does a fine job.

What size are you looking for? I have two 700x23c Gatorskins for €45. Very low mileage, practically new. They're €35 each on CRC.

Hi I'm new to this forum.
Is there a thread with a list of good websites for the purchasing of bikes and bike accessories. I need a few bits and bobs and I found my local bike shop to be a total rip-off (€24 for a mini pump with attachment ).

Any recommendations or can you just direct me to a thread?
