Menu bar missing

    Sorry I don't know if this belongs in feedback or not, I have no menu bar to see if there might be a more suitable forum, so please move accordingly if there is.

    Basically the menu bar is not where it should be on the top of the screen - the part where the forum list usually is.

    Just wondering if this is affecting everyone else?

    did you try clearing your cache and are you using standard or Beta?

    seems to have happened to everyone i talked to on any skin other than Beta (seems to be the only one unaffected)

    beta's a bit of alright, actually.

    I hadn't known there were quite so many forums.

    switch to beta (bottom of the linked page) for anyone who needs to switch but like me, couldn't find it.

    I'm on beta - menu bar goes missing occasionally, though ok at the moment. Just re-open Boards.

    Nothing to do with me this time and the tech team tell me they don't currently see anything specific being amiss. There was a glitch in the menu generator a couple of days ago, but a refresh should fix it.

    However, as we've pointed out before, we will get to a stage where we will simply be switching off all skins and sticking with just one (using the Beta skin as its template). I'm trying to push for a black/dark skin (like Cloud or Star Wars which I use) with the same layout with a mixed reception here in the office, but the overheads for maintaining other skins is simply too much. Numbers wise, I think it's less than 3% of our members who use anything other than the default skin.

    Can ye not turn off all other ones except the current default one then, as 97% of users already use that one? I've never been able to get used to beta any of the times I tried it, much prefer the old menu system.

    Why can't Beta be the template and allow the user to customise the colors, generated by their browser?
