thinking of getting one ( http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/9001048/Trail/searchtext%3ESLENDERTONE.htm ) , for anyone who dosnt know what im on about its those belts/pads you wear that zap you and are suppose to be the same as doing sit-ups etc

Im just curious , do they work? Anyone had any succes with one ? Or is it just another con ?

there are lots of threads about it with mixed opinions, have a search there, i think the general consensus is theyre rubbish but possibly useful if you already have a 6 pack or near enough

thanks:) they'd wanna be somewhat way useful with the kind of prices on them! lol anyone reading this ever use one?

Don't waste your money, you could spend that €160 on stuff that would be much more beneficial.

If it was me and I had around 200 euro to spend, I'd avoid that belt for definate - my brother bought one a good while back and it's sitting out in the shed gathering dust.

I'd go for the following instead (or something similar):

Delivery, regardless of the order size/type would be £42 with them so this order would come to £182 (208 euro). However, if you talk to them on their live help on the site, you can almost always get some sort of a discount or something thrown in for free. I'd try them for this skipping rope.

The above order would allow you to do weighted decline situps, crunches and oblique twists. The skipping rope would help burn fat to make those abs visible - and there's some pretty neat tricks you can do with a skipping rope after some (a lot of) practice.

Also, should you decide to get more serious and purchase a proper Olympics weights set or other equipment, the above will always be useful. It will also be easy to sell on should you decide it's not for you.

well there has been a few since i started browsing this forum in the last year, maybe not the exact same product but same concept

i always notice them because i used to always think of getting one before i actually enjoyed working out

No, I meant there's mixed opinions? You'll always get a random person coming on saying they work, but that's the nature of an online forum. Everyone who knows what they're talkinga bout will tell anyone they're a waste of time
