Bust size shrunk! help!

Is it true that when you lose weight, the first part of the body you lose it from is the bust?
This seems to have happened to me, more like it has happened.

I went on a mad get fit phase for 2 months just before the "summer" (and my holidays and the mini marathon), I went walking daily and did the playstation 3 ea active workout which is fantastic by the way along with lowering my intake of junk and daily squats and dumb bells.

I toned up alot and lost inches but no weight. I'm 5 ft 5 and weigh 10 stone but I'm size 10-12 on the hips but have a slim waist and I got my bust measured recently, it is now a 34A!!! :(

I was never very big anyway but I now find it hard to fit nicely in to dresses etc.

Anyway, my main question is, how do I prevent my bust getting any flatter if possible?!!!

I mainly want to tone my bottom and thighs and prevent my pot belly getting any bigger but I was dissappointed about my bust shrinking. You understand, don't you ladies?

Any answers or tips are well appreciated.
    Thank you.

I'm a man but I have heard this complaint a few times. There's really nothing you can do about it. You can't lose weight in certain places so the only way to stop losing bust size is to stop losing weight I'm afraid.

Them's the breaks I'm afraid. But its not the first place for everyone, just depends on your genetic makeup, some lose in the hips, some in the stomach, etc. Just enjoy your body for what it is and what it does.:)

Weight loss differs for different people, but generally, it's a matter of proportion. You're going to lose a proportion of fat from your body, and because the proportion will remain relatively constant, therefore the areas with the most fat will be the areas that seem the most decreased, because a certain proportion of a large amount will be more than the same proportion of a smaller amount.

Breast tissue (as you probably know) is mainly glandular tissue and fat tissue. So because you have a higher proportion of fat in your breasts than you do on say, your ankles, your ankles wont seem to have lost weight but your breasts will seem to have lost a lot.

And then there's also the fact that you're going to notice weight loss on your breasts far more than anywhere else, because it's somewhere you're scared of losing weight from.

I totally understand though. I wanted to lose just a bit of weight (~ 3 inches off the waist) and when I did, I realised I had gone from being in between 34C and 34D to being on the small side of a 34C. Which wasn't a lot, but compared to the rest of the weight loss it seemed quite a lot and was pretty disheartening, as I was worried the loss in volume might cause sagging. But all was well, and I always make sure I've got good support to stop any insecurity about gravity getting at them. I've heard of exercises you can do to keep them perky (and which claim to make them bigger) which I wouldn't put much faith in myself, but I've friends who say they do them and they think they work.

You can increase your "pec muscles/upper back/lats, etc" size but not the breasts themselves with exercise the normal way everyone does, to help balance the top and bottom. Nice shoulders also help.

Thank you everyone for the info and tips.

My bust size wasn't THAT bigger, it was a 36B and shrunk to 34A, may not seem like a big difference but trust me, it was. :o

I must admit, my posture is fairly good, always has been. It was one of my Mam's nagging quotes, "sit up straight", "stand tall" etc. I find doing so makes a big difference in your appearance (flatter tummy etc.).

To be honest Im nervous to go back working out incase it becomes a 34AA like a beginning puberty teen (Im almost 28). I also think I got the small bust gene from my Mam as she's always been very small but as a teen I was a C cup but as I matured, I lost weight. Anyway, back to the main point...

What exercises are there to strengthen the bust muscles or will I end up like an athletes bust then (mainly muscle)?

I'm actually proud of my curvaceous figure and slim waist, not too big, not too small. I was told I have hips like Jennifer Lopez and Shakira :P.
I wish! I just want to keep it toned but Im scared of getting any flatter.
