Anyone know what a Multi directional chest press is?

and a Multi directional shoulder press?

They are in a pre-season workout plan I have but cant find much useful info on either.

    Cheers

Sounds like something with cables and stacks. Why not just bench?

Cheers Squad but that doesnt look right.

I was assuming it was just on a bench. Maybe incline, decline and standard bench. The only problem is the way its stated to be carried out:

Multi directional chest press x 5/5/5/5/5
    Superset x 5 sets

That indicates 5 separate directions (hence the multi bit) as far as I can make out.

You'd do those on a free-weight bench with dumbells no?

    I really can't see how that's correct.

In fact the whole multi direction thing has me bamboozled to be honest.

The guy who wrote the program doesnt seem to be replying to questions unfortunately.

Kind of bamboozled by it myself.

He probably just means free bench press and free shoulder press as opposed to smith machine or weight machines
