Had a bag of the teddy bear crisps earlier and nowhere seems to do the salt and vinegar flavour anymore!! What foods did you like that you can't get anymore?

Also not selling lucky charms here anymore is a joke!!

I haven't seen jolly ranchers in a while. They were amazing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,202 ✭✭✭amacca

Texicanos I think they were called....a crunchy corn/maize based snak with packaging very like rancheros

    also sweets called "nutty favourites"
light brown colured ball shaped sweets with a thin coating of dessicated coconut on the outside.

haven't seen a desperate dan bar in a long time either

    Nestle Secret bars.

Used to get them as a posh treat when we were little.

I think I'm going to have to take my hungover backside to the shop to get a Walnut whip now. Just to replicate that chocolate weave feel when you bite into it.

Gino Ginelli, I think it was called Alfredo pizza. It was my favourite pizza when I as in my teens anyway. It had a creamy sauce in the base, yum

Vanilla coke and, shockingly, custard doughnuts. They used to make them in Tesco in Jervis and the sign still says 'custard filled' but its all lies. :(

I know I could get them somewhere else but I cant be bothered looking, it wouldnt be the same.

It's a sauce, it was like dolmio black olives or something and they took it away, they always do that, you get to really like a sauce or dressing and they take it off the shelves

    Scampi Fries.

I only know two pubs that do them - one in Birmingham, one in Coventry. The serving of scampi fries has a huge impact on my opinion of any drinking establishment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,194 ✭✭✭saa

    Bingo bars!

    Mint toffos?

And for a few years back there Caramac bars, but then I once again saw them being sold and quite frankly I was extremely disappointed, I suppose cheap chocolate just tastes better when you're a child.

What shops were selling lucky charms, I only saw them in that specialty food shop off south georges st they were about 9 euro.

I'm actually not a sugar fiend as this post makes me out to be :~)
