Do I need multi-vitamins?

I'm very picky about my food, and usually will only eat very basic stuff, such as pasta with sauce, chicken and chips or something like that. I only eat chicken and don't eat any meats or fish, not that I'm a vegetarian, I just don't like them. I barely eat vegetables either, and don't like spuds :| Yeah.. Well, anyway, I have a food problem and need some help! I think I'm lacking some(or a lot) of vitamins, and was wondering should I take multivitamins? I have dark circles around my eyes and read that an iron deficiency can cause that(and it's not from sleep or anything like that, I've tried nearly everything to get rid of them.)

What should I do? I'm not sure I can push myself to eat the food I don't like!

In your case, I think a good multi-vitamin would be a good idea. Ideally, you get all you need from your food, but you have to eat decent food for that to work.

If dark circles under your eyes are of concern, then you should visit your doctor.
In fact, having read your post, you probably should seek proper advice as you appear to have a problem eating any type of decent food.
There are many types of veg, fruit, etc. surely you don't dislike all of them, have you tried?
Vitamins are, at best, only a food supplement.

Yea, I'd focus on eating proper and varied food. You may not necessarily like trying other food but I imagine that's a combination of your taste buds being screwed by your narrow diet and your preconceived misconceptions about other foods.

I was never all that fussy about food, but would never eat certain stuff like shell fish and certain fruits. Anyway, past week or two I ditched all processed foods so had to try new things just for variation. Gave prawns a fair crack for the first time having previously told myself I didnt like then over and over till I started to believe it. Actually really liked them.

Yea, if your not willing to make changes then take supplements. But you still won't be eating healthy and they won't cure other problems your diet might ultimately cause

So do I just go into a chemist and buy a bottle of multi-vitamins? Or do they need to be prescribed or specific vitamins? :S

Obviously I'll need to change my diet to something more healthy, but for the time being(until I manage to like the foods I dislike), I just want to take multi vitamins.

I'd just get a bottle of multi-vitamins, take them regularly, and work on improving your diet. You don't need a prescription. Just make sure you don't double dose on anything which contains iron.
