Why not post some models and prices to whet our appetite a little! Include postage and all other costs, so we now total price delivered to our home! I think I would also need to see some photo's of the torches with todays Irish Times news paper also in them.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 506 ✭✭✭moby30

yeah thats no prob deerspotter, basically i was goin to sell them coz firstly i see how much people are starting to use them and secondly because i get them at wholesale price i obviously know the rrp and when you go into a store and see them in some cases more than double the rrp it pi**es me off. i am based in dublin so there wont be any charge for post here but i will find out exact postage costs and let yous know. as a fellow hunter and with things the way they are at the moment im just tryin to keep the costs down. everything is above board and i will have receipts to backup everything. i know of one dealer who is sayin that he will sell them at cost to make sure that people keep shopping with him and if he does even better-at least we wont be gettin robbed:) i have used every model so if anyone is looking for info even if they dont want to buy one off me i would be glad to help.just one last bit of info for everyone-you can buy filters for the p7s but nobody seems to be aware you can get them.
    thanks

by the way if anyone does see them cheaper let me know and i will do all i can to beat the price-but we are all gettin them off the same supplier.
i can also get leatherman tools, knives, victorinox, zippo hand etc

Il vouch for him, they are totally legitimate led lenser products straight from the wholesalers,i use them myself. No one will beat his price either.

The filters come with what's called a smart cover. It's a cover with a built in filter. You just take the cap off the cover and it fits onto the p7. Sound confusing but it's very simple. You get 4 filters red yellow green and blue. The red reduces the light a bit but is still perfect for rabbits. If you live on Dublin I can do it for 12 euros possibly cheaper just don't have the prices here in front of me.

I would also be interested in filters for the P7. When you figure out prices for postage could you send me on a price of filter and p+p for Offaly area.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 473 ✭✭dax121

id like the filters for the p7 also. postage for tipp area and method of payment. paypal?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 682 ✭✭✭demonloop

How much is a regular P7?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 506 ✭✭✭moby30

    the regular p7 was 50.00 euros +p+p
still tryin to find a cheap courier to make it worth while- but no luck yet. maybe some of yous have some suggestions? i dont mind meetin people somewhere for the time being as i travel a lot. i have a paypal account also

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 682 ✭✭✭demonloop

Thats not a bad price. I used to retail them.

The market's very wary of fakes, which made selling them online/on ebay problematic for me, especially in the quantity needed to make it worthwhile.

Hope you do well with them, they're great bit of kit.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 506 ✭✭✭moby30

yeah thanks man. definitely not fakes.i would prefer to meet people face to face with them before any money was handed over so at least they spread the word.

    Hello Moby30,
Have you P7 gun kit, with scope clamp and pressure switch in stock?
    and if so the cost.
    Cheers

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 506 ✭✭✭moby30

It's normly 70 euros boxed with all three in a small case. I have a few pressure switches spare as I don't use them myself so I could give you a p7 plus gun mount for 60 and throw in the pressure switch.

Hello Moby30, do you have the P14+ kit ie gunmount, pressure switch +filters. If so how much?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 506 ✭✭✭moby30

I have a p14 but the pressure switch does not work on them only the p7. I sell the p14 for 60 euros and the gun mount for 10.00. Your probably better staying with the p7 but if it's more power your looking for the m7r is you man.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,898 ✭✭✭poulo6.5

hi moby. just wondering if you have the p21 and how much.

    cheers

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 506 ✭✭✭moby30

The x21 i think you mean. They are 210.00 euros

ya probably x21. 210 is not bad. the cheapest quote i got for one was 250. and the rrp is around 300.

thanks i will keep it in mind, i have a few other things to buy first.

have you used one, i heard they are un real bright

I'm very tempted myself to buy one, i'd love to see what they are like compared to my lightforce blitz ( which has a broken wire again:rolleyes:)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 506 ✭✭✭moby30

Yeah I have one- if it's for hunting I think they are too bright. People are probably sick of me going on about the m7r but I reacon they are bright enough - half the price- rechargable - and you can buy filters for them.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 506 ✭✭✭moby30

I had a light force blitz and in my opinion the x21 is as bright if not brighter- but it's a different sort of light if you know what I mean:) the x21 is a very intense White light not like the warmer sort of light of the blitz- if that makes any sense

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,398 ✭✭✭ormondprop

I have an m7r already but i dont find it powerful enough for foxes past about 170/180, can see eyes alright but not much else, great torch though for around the farm and stuff, would like an x21 for scanning and mount the m7r on the scope, if i can get it back off the father some time in the next century

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 506 ✭✭✭moby30

Well if it's for scanning the mountains the x 21 is whats needed- just keep it away from your dad:)

Have you tried DPD? http://www.dpd.ie/ I've had a few items delivered by them and cost was very reasonable. An Post's registered service is also reasonable enough with insurance for 320€ included

I used to sell things online and found Fastway Curriers very competitive, it might be worth getting a quote from them.

Sorry about the delay guys- only just seen the post.
    The x21 is 209.00
    P17 is 60.00
    M7r is 99.00
    Gun mounts are 10.00
I would just say also that I'm waiting on a shipment of "x7r's" and x14r's" which might be with waiting for instead of the m7r's.
They are both nearly 600 lumens which is more than double the power of the m7r and only slightly bigger. I don't have a price yet but have been told they will be in or around the same price as the m7r.
    Thanks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 144 ✭✭iTom

Very good Moby30 I will wait and see.

    The breakdown is :

    Filters 15.00.
    Hope that's ok for you.

Just leaving a message to give credit where it is due:

You won't find better service than that given by Moby. Quality kit at the right prices. You'd be mad to go anywhere else if he has what you need.

    Hello Moby30,

I am interested in a X21R and a X7R if you can give me a price on both please.
Could you also let me know do these come with chargers or are the extra.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 506 ✭✭✭moby30

Hi Tom. As the X7R's have not come in just yet there is no definite price but I hope to have delivery within the next couple of days.

There is a big difference in price between the X21 and the X21R. The full recommended price on the X21R is now 490.00 euros and I was selling them for 380.00.All the rechargable Led Lensers come with their own recharging docks i.e. you just sit the torch onto magnetic mount and dont have to remove the batteries. Unfortunately they have all sold out but another shipment is due in early next week.

Finally i would just like to say that a few people have contacted me telling me that you can buy the X21R in the UK for 299.00 but this is just the standard X21 sold with rechargable batteries. The real X21R is 1600 Lumens compared to 1000 from the standard and it also has a lot of different functions like dimmers and strobes etc.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 144 ✭✭iTom

Very good Moby30 well if you can still get the X21R for the €380 ill take one and the X7R too, just let me know when you have them in.

    Thanks iTom.......
