recording of classes

    For classes and workshops etc, what would you recommend to record notes? I guess the quality from a normal dictaphone would not be good. Maybe with a microphone attachment of some kind? (sorry if this is the wrong forum)

    Do you mean a bunch of people in a room playing say acoustic guitars or will there be electric instruments involved?

    Oops just saw this now. I meant acoustic & voice. In the end I borrowed a minidisc player with a mic attached which worked out well enough, however I noticed a lot of people using iPhones and stuff.

    Fair enough, I suppose I was just thinking that there are different options available if sounds are coming from an amplifier or not. If your approach worked then alls well that ends well :).
