I just noticed that BBC iplayer/itv player is available on some freeviewhd/freesat boxes in the uk. So I was wondering if anyone knows if the irish broadcasters have any plans to launch rte player, tv3 catch up, tg4 beo, youtube etc on saorview/freeview hd stb's?

If your TV or Setbox has ethernet and Web browser the RTE online content will work.

Most Tvs and boxes have no network connection, even in UK too.
