Smart System

    I am currently having a house built and I want to install a smart system. I'm aware of the capabilities of these systems but I am ignorant of the brands, companies etc that supply them.

    Could anybody please advise of any decent suppliers either North or South - preferable people who have installed such systems in their homes and not people trying to plug their firm.

    By smart system I mean a network that integrates audio, visual, lighting and security.

    I have installed these before : http://www.systemline.co.uk/
    Music/audio + video with the option of using lighting plugins etc. I have not used their newer stuff but the older models you could do your self ( I just bought the bits that where needed) if you where semi IT literate.

    Not certain on the security modules though.
