No not talking about those rust buckets, there was a refurb set stabled for a long time in Portlaoise on the Conninerry siding which are reserved for the Biomass whenever it starts, but they appear to be gone now.

That refurbish set is now stabled in the Dardinell sidings in North Wall having being transfered from Portlaoise. The LPs in Mallow I'm told are not being scrapped but do need some work done at some stage.

Notice the older 22 fleet is getting EU numbers applied, is it recent thing or have I just not noticed the change until now?

Nice. Just like The Wanderers snaps reminded me of my Holyhead days, these remind me of my days in Gutersloh and Bielefeld, Germany.

    Evening all,

A very productive lunchtime at Clonkeen with:
    - 2807 + 2808 Limerick to Inchicore for the wheel lathe.
    - Inspection Car 723 from Ballybrophy to Heuston.
    - 219 and 220 on Cork MKIV services.
    - TRV 700 on a run from Mallow to Heuston.

The WRC is closed between Athenry & Gort due to flooding so a 2800 operated from Galway to Limerick via Portarlington. I just managed to miss this one and was sitting in the car out of the cold when it passed (i.e. I forgot about it!).

Actually looking through it again. I think it shows the station at summer hill in the 1930s and it looks like it wasn't all gone.
