So who'll be watching? Love it or loathe it, I watched it last year and it was far more exciting than a dull World Cup. I'll say one thing about CF, they do marketing and hype better than anyone else.

Including baseball and carrying water jugs! I've just seen that now, I kind of take it all back, that's just ridiculous, what are your thoughts on that?

Might as well have an egg and spoon race :P. The swimming thing is interesting as is the 2mins to do a max snatch. Dunno about the weighted chest to bar pullup. Kipping with 70kg+ attached seems like bad voodoo!

The softball+handstand walk+L-seat combo doesn't make a lot of sense if people are talking about work/work capacity. I reckon they left budding in charge of that one.

They've to wear uniforms this year, so the swimming allows them to go topless. Seems the rest of the programming is designed solely to pop some shoulders!

First event is good, two and five are ridiculous.

Ya I'll be watching. Looks like a lot of stupid **** in it this year but I'm sure it will be entertaining to watch regardless. I wonder how good Mikko's pitching arm is :pac:

Maybe they are having the egg and spoon race on Sunday:rolleyes:

Just had to go back and re-watch that performance by Annie T for Event 4 in the European Qualifiers:eek: Unbelievable!

    Carrying water jugs!

    Functional training for waiters.

Expect to see both a DVD and 1-day certification workshop advertised very soon.

I reckon Oktoberfest Fräuleins would clean up in the jug carrying!

Also, somebody on the message boards just (hopefully ironically) compared the softball throw to throwing a grenade :(

Some heavy snatchin' there alright. I think Hendel was north of 120 or so with pretty much zero warmup. He threw a mean softball too :P
