I just chuck in freezing cold water and Creatine and gulp it down as fast as I can. Although I got Optimum Nutrition Vanilla recently and I have to say its the best tasting one ive had so far.

You should probably try out the basic things like water and milk before bothering with more elaborate concoctions, it could save you time and effort.

What were the other brands you tried?

Optimum Nutrition is one of the nicer tasting, in my experience vanilla is the worse flavour of optimum nutrition

If its just milk and whey, a blender won't do anything that a shaker bottle won't do. A blender is only useful if you are putting in solids (like bananas, berries, peanut butter, ice etc)

there are no lumps but depending how much water/milk is in it will decide how thick it is if yer adding fruit/yogurt etc

Id imagine Chocolate is the best tasting of all the flavours of any however im allergic to cocoa so that rules me out of ever trying them.

A few spoons of instant coffee, especially if you're having one pre-workout. Nicer when mixing with milk than water.

Actually, a pretty delicious drink is just instant coffee, sugar and cold milk shaken up with ice.

I just mix my whey with either milk or water dependent on the flavour.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 714 ✭✭✭Smyth

I put about 200ml in with 2.5 scoops of whey. Gives it a nice thick milkshake texture.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,773 ✭✭✭madma
