I just misread the photography forum as the porrnography forum, which inspired me to start this thread. Might raise a chuckle.

Have you ever felt surprised at something on boards?

I'm suprised that so many users still claim to be female. The only girls on the internet are naked ones

I was genuinely surprised by the amount of fapping material in the "Know Your Lounger" thread.

I used to be suprised at the existence of the Mustard forum, until I realised its a valuable additive to a late night drunk consumption of a hot dog :pac:

Sympathy, now that would be a surprise.

Also Empathy would be another surprise

I'm surprised that people think that 'no wimmin on the internet' thing is still funny.

It used to surprise me (years ago) the amount of racism, homophobia and hatred on the internet. But then, as became abundantly clear over the years, the internet is a godsend for cranks.

    Nothing surprises me anymore.

The most surprising thing on boards is that anyone 'thanks' some of my posts

I'm surprised that people think using the word 'wimmin' is funny/witty/clever.

when I first joined, the model forum wasn't what I was expecting

Another one there this weekend caught my eye. Thought I read about a BJ meetup but it turned out to be something to do with martial arts :(

I'm surprised you missed the context of why WindSock spelt in that way.

I'm surprised at the amount of people who just get banned and re-register and get banned and re-register.

    Kinda sad isn't it?

Generally can notice them because of beeline for AH, recent join date and posting antagonistic crap to annoy people all the time.

Often have a name like Mikey187 or something like that. You know. Throw away because they'll be onto another new nick when they're banned again.

That there's always one dissenting voice in almost every thread (sometimes they're trolling no doubt), no matter how reasonable the point they're arguing against is.

The insanely high levels of hypocrisy and begrudgery on show always surprises me. I know the Irish are sorta famed for it, but damn.
