From experience if you're trying to bulk without putting on fat it's a bit counter-productive. Choose one or the other.

He means you can't really bulk up without putting on fat.

t nation always makes me feel i should be taking steroids

i think there is a lot of sense in not getting fatter than you need to when bulking

    It's kind of common sense.
Everyone with half a brain is aware that there is a upper limit to the muscle you can build. All the article is saying is that if you eat huge amounts you'll get fatter.

You still need to eat a lot to reach the max amount of muscle, and even at this level you'll still put on fat.

Cant really say from much experience but i read this blog alot and from what i see the people who follow this guys idea of intermittent fasting to bulk while staying lean get good results, although by the looks of some of them id be suprised if steroids didnt have some role in the end result! Good read though!:pac:

    Are you for real dude??

The past year 90% of your posts relate to either dropping body fat or putting on muscle.

How has your training gone for the past year? How much muscle have you put on in the last 6-12months.

How much has your e.g. deadlift, squat, chin up, press gone up?

I honestly think you should focus on just getting plain on strong like bull, go lift regualrly, eat plenty and enjoy the process

    My two cents
