My first time watching the TDF, why did Voeckler shock out with the bottle?

Edit: Just realised it was nothing to with the bottle.

    Evans @ '37

This tour has been absolutely bonkers. Impossible to call what will happen on the Alpe.

    Love it!

    Chapeau all

They sometimes sellotape a energy gel to the water bottles. Sometimes they burst in your hand when you grab them.

Sammy S has caught AS AC
    Evans at 38s

Andy will attack at the bottom of the Alpe d'huez. Wether Evans catches them on the descent or not.
He knows he can get away from Evans at will, then its down to will-power to stay away.

Thats what I realised and edited my post accordingly. mgmt was just giving another bit of info that I wouldnt have been aware of as a non-cyclist.

He's referring to the euphemism 'sticky bidon'. Where the hand off of the bottle is delayed long enough to give the uninitiated observer the impression that the cyclist is being assisted.

Leopard team car says Frank is with Evans and showdown on Alpe d'Huez and that they were surprised by Contador but Andy is very strong, mentally too and wants to show everybody what he's got.

The big question is Rojas with Cavendish in the gruppetto? I think Rojas will take the lead if Cav gets docked points again.

Is Rolland making serious inroads into the White jersey today ? I don't see Taaramae, but Coppel is in the 3rd group.

How is Roche doing, 2 of his team mates in Tommy's group but didn't see him there.

Europecar are in a dilemma, Rolland can get the white jersey but by pulling they are dragging Taaramae with them.
