Weightlifting diet.

    Hows a goin lads...Il keep it short, i recently joined the gym mainly for weight training and i just want to no what yee think of my diet....

    Breakfast: scrambled eggs on wholemeal bread, fruit juice..

    Sack: Fruit and protein (chicken/turkey slices)..

    Lunch: 3 slices of wholemeal bread, chicken or turkey, strawberries, grapes.....

    Snack: Fruit and protein.

    Dinner: Chicken/turkey/steak, 2 potatoes, veg and somtimes beans..

    Snack: apple and some protein (chicken or turkey)...

    2-3 litres water a day.

    Also starting protein shakes monday. Any advice please. Thanks.

    Is this a weight loss or healthy or weight training diet...? Should i be eaten more or less.?

    All depends on what your goals are and what lifting your doing.

    Some holes here and there but adjustments can be made once we know how serious - ie lifting weights but fat loss while keeping most of your strength or muscle gain??

    Do you know how much you should be consuming for your goal?

    What height are you? Age? Im presuming your male? Too many variables left out to get a decent answer.

    My main reason is for my golf game. Chest, arm, shoulders and core exercises are goals. I weigh about 8 and a half stone and im 18. I was told that being this age and that weight im ideal. And no, how much should i be consuming a day?
