Did Miriam just say 'Sh*t' or is my filthy mind working overtime?

Imagine the love child of Rebekah Brooks/Wade and Neil Lennon. You could power a small city from the ginginess.

She did. It's odd - all those years grilling politicians on Prime Time... not a single expletive. And then, while presenting a light-hearted chat-show, she suddenly turns into Gordon Ramsay.

Have you seen Celtic play lately?

And the death threats, and having to flog this unloved Dublin Super Cup, etc

Thanks, I'm not going mad :)

That type of language would not have been tolerated a few years ago, it's a ****ing disgrace!.

Miriam is a beautiful woman but I really think she needs the help of a stylist at this stage. Every week she seems to be wearing exactly the same style of dress in a variety of "Quality Street" colours.

Paul is 47 and Lucinda is 31 but she seems to look at lot older than 31.

miriam is awful... she cant do a interview at all

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,873 ✭✭✭Skid

Lucinda Creighton looks much more relaxed than she does when she is doing a political interview.

I don't think Miriam should be interviewing politicians about their private life on this show, when she will be 'grilling' them on PrimeTime later in the year. It compromises her position somewhat.

    Lucinda is besotted :)

Miriam didn't follow up on why Myra "retired" even though I'm sure she knows the reason ...

How are we to pronounce Creighton? Cray-ton or Cre-ton?

True, you'd never out 16 years between them.

I'm from Clare and I found Mr. D through Clare's father Willie Daly.

    Only joking :D

Why was she even on it? free advertising for her business.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,873 ✭✭✭Skid

Clare Daly seemed nice, she also looks considerably better than her namesake, the Socialist Party TD.

I really like Finbarr Furey, I'm glad he is on, it seems like ages since he has been on TV.

I love when he plays "The Lonesome Boatman" on the pipes.

Jasus I just flicked this one having dipped into Lee Macks All Star Cast after Penn and Teller
and its like the 1970s never ended on RTE.

    One of my favourite songs.
    I love that banjo too.

Miriam is talentless and as warm as Grainne Seoige. If she has no script she has no clue.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,585 ✭✭✭✭Lady Chatterton

Finbarr famously appeared on Top of the Pops years ago and during rehearsals he was asked by the camera crew if he could keep his eyes open while he was singing.

Finbarr replied "Jaysus, I couldn't do that as the words of the song are written on my eyelids".

the sweet sixteen rendition was brilliant, just happened to flick over in time for it
