Beta Blocker and exercise question!

ok I am currently in hospital at the moment with the prospect of having to be put on beta blockers!
I'm only 21 and the reason I may have to take them is that I collapsed in the gym after some exercise on the threadmill, now i have collapsed a couple of times before this after exercise aswell so this problem has to be nipped in the bud!
I will have to take them to limit the effect adrenaline has on my heart.
Having been a very active person from the ages of say 12-18 playing football, soccer on both club and school teams to a high level, swimming and also gym work this is a bit of a pain in the proverbial! I was just getting back into the whole fitness thing this summer and this occurred again.
I have read up on some of the side effects beta blockers may have but I was just wondering has anyone on here had any experience of taking these and exercising to a high level say playing team sports or competing in marathons/triathlons? Your opinions are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

This is not something we can advise you here, it's against the charter and is something that should be discussed with a relevant medical professional and not internet strangers in fairness.

All the best with it OP.
