I'm not mad into celebrities but I thought it might be nice to compile a list of well known Tipp Folks.

They can be from all walks of life, from the arts, to history, to politics and sports. They may have been born and bred here or they maybe linked by association or a love for the county.

Once he left Limerick, He was welcomed to Clonmel with open arms by the creme de la creme. He fathered a child there and helped get guns for the local feud there, All in all he became a real Clonmelion.:D

Frank was from Cloneen. Very sad story and so unfortunate considering all the races previously he came out of probably without a mark on him

The British Chancellor for the exchequer George Osbourne has links in the county i believe in Ballintaylor wherever that is.

Ah sure if he was from the north he'd have fixed the roads and got a proposed casino the planning permission for Two-Mile-Punjab or maybe get the odd poor aul sod here and there a medical card and all for the love of the people he serves.....of course there's nothing in it for him
