    deadlifting?

    rowing's good for cardio fitness. it did give me a herniated disc in my lower back though, but that's a different matter.

    My physio suggested core work, specifically pilates for my lower back/disc recovery, swimming and cycling were also mentioned.

    my body feel stiff specially lower bending down it feels like it need a stretch or something pain is gone now but it well be back if i dont do something about it should i row or cross train to loose up joints ? WTF WILL I DO ?

    Doesnt sound like a lower back "weakness" is causing it. Sounds more like the symptom of something else. Probably a mobility or activation isse somewhere in your lower body or maybe thoracic spine. Sports physio/osteo is what yah need to diagnose it. Not some barbell movement to fix it.
