4 weeks workout plans (holidays)

    Hi all,
I'm off on holidays in 4-5weeks so wanting to shift a few extra pounds I'm carrying. I weigh about 54 kilos, in around 8st 5lbs I think?! So looking to get back down to 8st..
I ran 10k marathon a few weeks ago and flew it, did circuit training twice a week but I will admit I stopped exercising after the marathon, as in doing my daily run and haven't been circuit training in two weeks. Went for my first run last night and could feel it in my legs, I made the same mistake before of stopping.. Getting back into it can be so hard!!
Looking for a bit of advice now on how I can get rid of those excess pounds.
I personally think my diet is relatively ok:
Breakfast: Porridge or scrambled eggs with wholemeal bread
    Mid Morning: Apple/Banana
Lunch: Wholemeal pitta bread with chicken, lettuce and red onion
Mid afternoon: Another piece of fruit
Dinner: dinner sometimes can be tricky, it's my downfall I think.. It can be anything from cajun chicken wraps, spag bol, chicken stir fry, last night was breast of chicken with green veg and sweet potato.
Drink about 3-4 pints of water a day!

I'm going to go back to the gym every morning now before work to get back into my proper routine in order to get into some sort of shape.
Does anyone have any advice on exercise/diet etc?
All advice would be much appreciated! Thanks :)

Your diet looks good but you don't have a lot of time with only 4 weeks to go. If I had just 4 weeks to lose some weight I'd do lots of cardio.

In the long term you'd be better off doing weights and cardio, you'll look a lot better in the end.

Thanks, I was thinking of mixing it up with a bit of weights and cardio. HIIT is great for fat loss if I'm correct? So was thinking of doing that between the bike and treadmill.

Yeah HIIT or any high intensity training is top drawer stuff for fat loss. Also another important word you used in your first post was "Routine". I find this is the key to any exercise regime. Get a good routine going and you'll be flying.

IMO- treadmill and indoor bike is the enemy, get outside plough up and down a field for 2mins on an old scrap bike then drop it and run as hard as you can for 30sec then rest for 30-90sec and repeat x5 or 6 times.
