    Hi,

Sorry if this has been covered before but I am looking for a recommendation for someone who will do a nice set up on a bass. Most of the guys I have approached so far don't know their arse from their elbow when it comes to the bass (one guy actually asked 'what's a warwick?'!!!) so I'd appreciate it if you could recommend someone who at least plays the instrument :D

I'm based in Thurles so somebody nearby or in Cork would be a great help.

    Thanks a million.

I'm afraid I cant help in regards recommending someone in your area. If it is just a basic set up, you could do it your self if you follow the step by step instructions in the link below. Read through it slowly first, and see what you think.

Thanks Rigsby, that's a pretty comprehensive guide but I'd prefer to get a pro to do it. I've been messing away myself for a few months and I only seem to be making matters worse so it's definitely time to hand it over!

Doing it yourself is not always an option for people.

Call Steamboat Music or FSV in Limerick and they'll put you onto someone that side of Tipp, Pat in Premier Music in Clonmel can help you out too, or you can send it to someone in Cork like Jim O'Halloran.
