Me neither, although I'm not surprised.Sure everyone knows that every thing or one of importance somehow originated here:D I'm fairly certain that we Irish will claim we used to breed wolly mammoths or TRexes at some stage.

It made sense to me and I gave it credit straight away. The polar opposite to your reaction.

We should see what other animals we can claim, this could be just the tip of the iceberg.

All today's polar bears' maternal ancestors were from Ireland apparently.

yeah, apparently though different in every possible way, the polar males were able to mate successfully with the Irish females.

    Damned vikings and their pushiness.

Possibly Royalist more than anything, The Royal Bear Force having good loyalties, however making hats for the Buckingham palace guards out of dead bears could turn the relationship grizzly.

Weird thing is though, my brother lives in Norway and all the Norwegian girls think Irish men are georgeous!!! (in fairness I took advantage of this while there lol), and weirder is that if they hear you talking with an Irish accent then you're basically in...

What didn't make any sense to me is that you could basically have a Norwegian version of Brad Pitt standing beside you and you'd still pull all the insanely stunning girls, so maybe us Irish males do have some "mega awesomeness" gene that we're not aware of...

Or maybe I just got daft lucky, either way, I'm not complaining :P

So I have to wonder, is this island the same locale from Fantasy Island, and will Ricardo Montalban wander out with martinis at any minute? :)

Even though they're wild beasts, even they would likely have the sense to not pick sides lol.

When you're dealing with humans who act like beasts then you can't win.

They're actually black but its the content of their character that's important.

The polar bear story is further proof that we're slowly talking over the world without anyone ever knowing.

If polar bears were really Irish, the Christian Brothers would have beaten the left-handedness out of them.

Maybe that's why they fled the Country.
