    Hello there!
I have a rowing machine (From 1-8 level resistance), a tread-mill, and a yoga mat. I'm tall and slender, but would like to tone up and stay fit. When I exercise I tend to get skinnier than I'd like, and prefer it when I'm slightly curvier, so I'm not sure if I should be going on the treadmill much. I'd only have the time to use them 45-60 mins, 3 times a week. I currently go on the treadmill for 25 mins, rower for 10, and yoga mat with sit ups etc for...5-10. Ha, I've no idea what I'm doing! Any suggestions on what I should be using and for how long?

Get yourself a set of dumbells. There's a lot you can do with them.

If I was starting again I would first look at and get some advice on my diet, read this which will help:

Then you should do some basic movements with pretty much no equipment required, check this out:
    http://www.dominicmunnelly.ie/2009/08/basic-weights-program-for-home-or-gym/

Start with the above workouts and then as you get fitter and stronger you could look at throwing in some rowing exercises maybe aim for 1,000m for time and then next time try to improve on the 1,000m time until you feel comfortable with it and then maybe try some HIIT (intervals of 30 seconds going hard rest for 30 seconds and repeat 5-10 times).

Stay away from those damn treadmills (this is just my opinion, I hate them), if you wanna run do it outdoors in a park or google "couch 2 5k"

    Hope this helps.

Can I ask what type of treadmill you have and do you find it good, looking into getting one for the winter months but not a clue where to start! Thanks in advance.
