The Masterchef duo (Australia and US) with the better half..

.. and still playing catch-up on Fringe - just over mid-way through season 2. Still not quite grabbing me as much as I'd hoped.

Although I truly despise Fox for being stupid enough to air that 'Unearthed' episode where (spoiler if you've not seen up to at least S02E05 of 'Fringe')
Charlie justs pops up again despite being dead since early in the season.. how idiotic could you be to re-run an old episode from season 1 and miss something as OBVIOUS as that!
). I had no clue what was going on til I looked it up!

The Shield, I'm onto to the season 6 finale tonight. And a couple episodes of Penn & Teller Bull****. By the time I'm finished the Shield it'll be first episode of Breaking Bad season 4. Literally the only thing I'm watching weekly this summer.

Hey folks, why don't we use this thread as an off-topic (or on-topic but unfocussed!) thread for the TV forum.... just a general banter thread. They seem to be popping up all over the site these days...

Just started this thread as a sort of 'tv pick' for tonight. Not to make personal recommendations but to get ideas on what's on and worth watching from others.

With so many channels, it is easy to spend the evening flicking channels and end up watching nothing.

    Happy to let it flow

    Despised that myself..

.. don't get me wrong, I love magic.. but it's when tricks becomes so unbelievable / staged that it fails to be interesting and you start to question every little thing.

Plus the guy is trying too hard to be David Blaine (e.g doing the card trick to the two lads outside the theatre and disappearing out of shot - "oohhh... where's he gone?").

    Trash!

It's also that and .. I don't know .. he just doesn't have the personality or the stage presence to pull it off either. He was much better before he became mainstream and was well known just on YouTube.

Top Gear 20:00 on BBC HD & BBC2

Vettel is the star in the reasonably price car. The seems a bit unfair as he is the current F1 Champion

The Wire (DVD), last episode of series 5. Been putting this off as it is the last one.

They usually put the F1 drivers seperate to the regular celebrities on the leader board.

Indeed. They have a separate board for F1 drivers. And they also use the old reasonably priced car.
