    Hi There,

    Am looking for a
pedometer that A) counts in KM & B) I can wear on my arm or somewhere that it won't fall off!

Had one before that I had to clip onto my trekie bottoms & it kept falling off.

don't want to spend a fortune but would like to get one that someone has used & recommends. Will be used for power walking & running.

    thanks,

    Tilly!

    A pedometer counts steps.
Translating this to KM isn't very accurate, steps come in various difference sizes.

There is, a GPS watch link a Garmin. This tracks you position and records it. That's the only way to record it accurately

A pedometer counts steps. That's it. Some of the better models translate this to kilometres. But its not accurate at all. A tall person and a short person will have different stride lengths, some models probably allow you enter your stride length, which will mean its more accurate for you. But walking/jogging/running will all have different stride lengths, so it goes right out the window again.

What do you want it for? Is it to counts the distance you cover over a day just going about your business, around the office, up to the shop/school etc, if so a pedometer prob be accurate enough for that.
If you are to include jogging or running then its no good imo
