Dropbox vs TCDwifi?

    Hey

    Dropbox seems to be disagreeing with the proxy of late, randomly losing its authentication and then pinging 15 times so that I get locked out and have to fecking go and reset it.

    Anyone else have similar issues? Its only happening since I came back into college ~2 weeks ago. Was fine till the end of term.

    What proxy are you using?

    proxy C was causing me serious trouble with my browser last month. Switching firefox over to proxy B fixed it all, including dropbox (which I typed in tcdproxy.tcd.ie, 8080). I don't pretend to understand these things, but it works now so tá áthas orm.

    Hey guys - just noticed your post about the dropbox proxy settings and am also having trouble with dropbox on my laptop in tcd. Just wondering what you mean exactly by "proxy C"?? I'm not entirely computer savvy - at the moment my server for dropbox is tcdproxy.tcd.ie. Dropbox is actually working at the moment but usually when I need it most it has trouble connecting - any ideas?
