Numbness in Toes

Just wondering is this common, I run about 5km a week plus play some footie, I've only noticed that two of my toes on the left foot are numb all the time. Its not a show stopped but wondering is it worth a visit to a GP.

I used to get the same thing and found it was because I tied my runners too tight.
