Being re-directed from Google

When using Google lately I'm being redirected to other sites. By this I mean, say I search for Boards and the first on the search is www.boards.ie and I click on this I get redirected to www.crapsite.com and it isnt always the same crap site either. Could this be a virus or am I just doing something wrong?
