I have a set of York adjustable ones but the DVD programme I've just started changes weights for each exercise. Separate dumbells would make it much easier. I'm looking for a range from 3-10kg, just for the school holidays when I'll be working out at home.

I've 60kg+ in York cast iron plates if they're any good to you.

    Dunno about logistics though!

Thanks for that but the ones I have are adjustable ones with paltes and what I want is seperate pairs of dumbells like you'd get in the gym

Sorry to butt in but how much are you selling them for? I've been wanting to get a few plates for a temporary basis, until i can afford to get another membership

Thanks, hadn't tried those ones. But alas no joy...The search continues!

    Hi!

Can I ask if you managed to find heavier dumbells? I'm also on the lookout - very hard to find!

I also noticed on another thread you are doing Chalen Extreme - how do you find it? I'm looking at that and/or Turbo Fire. Due to time / money constraints have had to give up gym membership and need to workout at home. Have done some Jillian Michaels which I find great but want to move up another level.

    Thanks!

    Hiya,
I never amnaged to get a new set of dumbells but I am picking up , I hop, extra plates this weekend, for my current set of adjustable ones.
I've done JM 30 day shred too and think you will love Chalean = 3 weights workouts a week plus 2 extra cardio-ish sessions one of which is a bit like JM's intervals - except it's 47 mintues long!
