    Hi All,

I'm thinking of buying a small roundabout skiboat - suitable for a small young family. Ideally, a short length boat with an outboard engine for easy and safe storage in my suburban driveway and one that can be easily towed. I've noticed that the bowrider type boats are popular- 17-20feet. Maxum, Bayliner, Campion, etc. They all do very similar boats. There appear to be very good 2nd hand prices at the moment.

Any advice for people who have first hand experience?
    Bovis

You seem to have most of the of the boats sorted you could also look at the fletchers cheep and cheerful :D With young kids it might also be worth looking at a cuddy cabin for them to hide away if the weather turns.
Remember most boats are only worth the engine on the back so go for as new a one as you can.:)

If you want a project boat I have one for sale :D
