The rule for being with someone younger is half your own age plus 7. So if you were 20 you shouldn't be with anyone younger than 17

my old boss's rule is half your minus 7. he's 44. she's 21. i know the maths doesnt work, but wait til he's retired.

My friend is 27 and her boyfriend is 18. Going by the half plus 7 rule her lower limit should be 20.5, her being with an 18 year old is just wrong. An immature 18 year old at that.
